modcloth
Anyone who knows me knows that I love several things: bows, sparkles, and anything nautical. This doormat caught my eye when I was searching around ModCloth and it's made its way to my wishlist. I've made the decision to post more than just incredibly expensive clothes -- especially since I'm currently unemployed and there are tons of cute (and affordable!) home items out there! :)

voluspa
I first saw Voluspa candles in the botique Francesa's Collections over the holiday break, and let me just say, they smell seriously good. Granted they are $15 for a candle, but it's pretty big and the pink citron scent is about the best thing I've ever smelled.

College Wishlist

1. Spoon and Fork Wall Clock, Target, $39.99
2. Jeweled Urchin Knob, Anthropologie, $16
3. Paris Themed Switch Plate, Esty, $7.50
4. Mirrored Wall Letters, PBteen, $49
5. Side Table, Ikea, $9.99
6. Futon, Target, $99 (this style is no longer available, but the link is to a similar one by Target)
7. Cut Lace Pillow, Urban Outfitters, $32.00

I'm still not sure what day I'll be moving back to school, but I am so ready! I'll be living in a house this year and that means one thing: MORE DECORATING. I can't wait. Anyways, these are a few things that I'm loving at the moment. I actually have the black futon (I bought it two years ago for my dorm room) and I'm hoping to be able to fit it in my room for when friends stay the night. My favorite is the cut lace pillow from Urban Outfitters because of the contrasting dark gray and ruffles. I'm ready to start another year, meet new people, start my new job (finally, money!), hang out with friends, and go to football games. What a life :)

Tamara Mellon's FABULOUS Apartment

(She's the founder of Jimmy Choo, although everyone should already know this)

I'm not even kidding, rarely am I SO inspired by someone/their home/life/etc. than by Tamara Mellon. First off, her kid's name is Minty. Not a name I would ever choose, but when your mom founded Jimmy Choo, you can be named the stupidest thing and still be awesome. Second, Tamara's closet is TO DIE FOR. I would kill to have one pair of Jimmy Choo shoes (that I would wear endlessly, no doubt), let alone own her over 1,000 pairs. Minty better be the most well-dressed shoe fashionista on the planet when she's older.

tinsel* giveaway!

I can't wait until I live on my own for the sole reason of being able to decorate my own apartment. I have always wanted my own vanity, especially because the ones in these photos are so gorgeous:

Design Inspiration: Lonny Magazine

One of my favorite home/decor magazines was Domino and since it's unfortunately gone out of print I've been looking for a substitute fill the void. Lonny Magazine, an online magazine started by Michelle Adams (formerly of Domino) and photographer Patrick Cline. Its absolutely adorable and you can click on images that link directly to purchase items. I love it and its free! I'm obsessed already.

Ikealand

Ikea is the best store for decorating! I stopped by the one in Canton earlier and fell in love with these chandeliers. I love how the display had several hanging at alternating heights rather than just one - and they're only $39.99 each. Definitely a cute way to add something to a room! Here's a few other ones that I love:
Ikea, $39.99
Gallery, $99

Pure Modern, $349.50
